Where can I get glass ornaments repaired?

When I was on holidays I bought someone a one-of-a-kind handmade glass rose. I got it wrapped in bubblewrap and placed in a box but on the way home, one of the leaves broke off, so now you would know to look at it that something broke off it. Is there any sort of specialised place that fixes these kind of things?

I can't name a repair shop, but I've repaired several glass objects with superglue (cyanoacrylate). As long as you don't have too many little pieces you'd probably be alright. If you try to mate the two broken ends you can often get a very good fit. I put just a small dab of superglue on each broken end and then mate them temporarily so that the glue thoroughly and evenly coats both surfaces and then hold them apart again (this exposure to the air helps make the glue a bit more tacky so it'll bond a little quicker). Then reapply the ends and hold them firmly together without apply too much pressure since you don't want to squeeze out all the glue. Many fixes just require holding the part together a few minutes for the bond to work. Others might need a little help- a piece of tape, etc. Then set it aside to cure overnight. You can often get a very fix with only a hairline crack visible. Good luck.
